Soggy day

This rain can stop any day now. The poor farmers are gonna either have what they planted flooded out, or they aren't gonna be able to get crops in the ground. It sure has been a frustrating spring. I'm just thankful that we have had no tornados in our part of the state, however, Parkersburg, IA in the north central part of Iowa didn't fare so well a couple weeks ago. If it had happened on a weekday where there were people working and kids in school, i can only imagine what the effect on lives it would have been. Please keep Parkersburg in your prayers.

Thank you all for the prayers for our little girl. She is such a happy little girl, that I can't imagine anything going wrong with her.

Well, its officially SUMMER!! ok, so not really, but if you can fish in my parents pond, then I think its summer. And if you were to ask Mason, he would agree. He could live down there and fish and play in the sand all day long.

Just think what he could of caught had he had a real fishing pole, and not a 'Roy Car' (CARS) fishing pole?!?! He almost lost his pole to a 'big' fish, but luckily the fish just took the hook and some string and swam away.

Pa (Dad), Granny A (Mom) and Mason getting the fish off the line and untangling Masons pole. Please keep my dad in your prayers today, as he is going in for surgery.
