After meeting up with them and stopping for some lunch, we headed back to the farm to relax. They had been up since the wee hours of the am to get into DSM by noon... course they had to get delayed in KC due to the weather we were having in DSM.
It wouldn't be til later in the day, that I would find out that Tony's cousin, Jeff, had a brain aneurysm in the night and was put on life support to be an organ donor. He donated quite a few organs, and there are many people out there still alive and doing well because of him. Isn't organ donation wonderful!!! He was 45 years old, and left behind a wife and four kids. Such a sad thing when the young and healthy are taken so suddenly, but only God knows why he was needed more there then here on earth. We continue to pray for his family and hope that things get a little easier over time.
The rest of the weekend was just spend hanging out with family and enjoying the pond. Mason loves the sand. I think we went thru atleast two outfits a day while we were there that week.
Course Miss Mallory was having a grand time in her walker. Won't be long and she will be playing in the sand. Right now all she wants to do is eat it, so I haven't really left her in the sand for any extended period of time.
The next post will be the BIRTHDAY BASH!!!! Boy did we have a good time on July 1st, for Amy's 28th birthday!!!!!!! I miss you guys already!!!!
